Working with Katie completely changed my relationship to food and my body. I used to think in terms of doing the 'right thing', or being 'bad' and I liked being 'bad' in many ways including sugar, alcohol, caffeine, etc. She understood that what was holding me back was my old habits tied to not wanting to be 'deprived' of comfort and she helped me learn what my body really wants and feels truly satisfied with. By learning how to check in with myself and honor what felt best to me in my body, instead of my mind, what I wanted to do for my body changed. When that happened, Katie was right there with things I could start to do differently to support myself with my new found desire to break old habits and begin new ones. Ways to eat, ways to drink, ways to move, and how to be gentle and loving with myself throughout the journey. I have been working with Katie for about a year. When I first started it was really just to support my mom in her journey (we do our sessions together), but at some point there was a shift and I began looking forward to the sessions for my own personal shift.  When I really showed up, I was able to truly experience the light in Katie. I have grown as a person, both spiritually and emotionally. I have allowed myself to be guided by the universe and I find gratitude in the things around me. I have more work to do, but I feel Katie has been an instrumental support in my journey. I highly recommend working with her!

As a way to improve and increase my strength and flexibility I looked to yoga. Due to a chronic illness and pain, traditional classes were not working for me. What I appreciate about working with Katie is that her first priority when we begin each session, is to assess how I’m feeling both physically and mentally, and then she adjusts our class accordingly.  Over the year we’ve been working together I have seen an improvement in my energy level, flexibility and core strength…which was non existent before.  I would highly recommend working with Katie, she is knowledgeable, patient and kind…and we laugh a lot together too!
